About SSAI

Organized in 2001 and officially launched in 2002, Sword Swallowers Association is the world's only network of performing sword swallowers.

SSAI is dedicated to fostering communications between performers.

Designed to not only improve communications, SSAI also sponsors and conducts research into the historical aspects of sword swallowing, and supports the development of the largest and most complete archive of sword swallowing information and photos, both past and present, swordswallow.com.

From keeping performers in contact, to organizing record-setting events, bookings for its members and offering exclusive access to insider information and resources, SSAI is dedicated to preserving and promoting the ancient art of sword swallowing in today's modern performance world.
